# Edition v1.3 — replacement clarification

Section 15 now states the scope of replacement comparisons: outperforming one arrangement under declared assumptions does not establish zero contribution, universal replaceability or justification for harm. Accuracy and compute cost alone do not exhaust the full net-value comparison.

Section 19 explicitly separates usefulness, replaceability and preference using the existing positive human increment of 1/50 and replacement advantage of 3/200. It also states that incremental human value after acquisition of the replacement sensor is a different comparison requiring joint information and cost inputs. The Reader Core carries a short matching clarification.

No payoff, model, theorem or numerical verifier logic changed. All adverse cases remain. Schema 14.0 binds the revised companion Markdown. The complete v1.2 source documents and earlier references are preserved. Study proposal v1.2 and separate evaluation v0.1 remain unchanged; the evaluation still targets its frozen v1.2 inputs, not this successor. No live model study or independent review of v1.3 is claimed.
